Luncheon Registration Process
We are hopeful that you will be able to join us for each and every luncheon this year. Beginning October 2024, in a continued effort to enhance planning for our events and to maintain a positive working relationship with Patton Hall, we are better defining our registration process for the upcoming year. Please make note of the updated registration guidelines below.
Registration for all luncheons will end at midnight the Friday before our Thursday luncheon. Members will be charged the normal $35 fee.
Late registrations received on the weekend, beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and ending at midnight on Sunday, will still be guaranteed a reserved seat for Thursday’s event at a cost of $40.
Cancelations must be requested through reservations@armyspousesclub.org by midnight the Sunday before the luncheon to receive a refund.
The same timelines and fees will be applied to any visitors accompanying members. We will purchase a meal for everyone with permanent reservations unless we are notified that they will not be able to attend.
As always, please mark your calendars for the Army Spouses Club every third Thursday of the month. In order to take advantage of the $35 luncheon fee, be sure to register promptly when you receive your luncheon notification.
Funds for the Army Spouses’ Club of the Greater Washington Area (ASCGWA) Scholarship are raised by the Army Spouses’ Club of the Greater Washington Area. The number and amounts of scholarships awarded each year vary based on the number of eligible applications received and the amount of scholarship funds available.
The scholarship is a limited eligibility scholarship. Only applicants who meet the eligibility requirements stated below will be considered for this scholarship.
The scholarship is a merit scholarship. Scholarship awards are based upon consideration of applicants’ academic achievement, community involvement and/or leadership potential. Financial need is not considered.
Scholarships are awarded in three categories: High School Senior, College Student and Member/Spouse. Applicants can be awarded only one scholarship each year. Applicants may receive a scholarship as a high school senior and later receive another scholarship as a college student. Applicants who are awarded a scholarship as a college student or spouse cannot reapply for a scholarship in that category. Unsuccessful college student or spouse applicants may reapply for a scholarship in that category as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements for the scholarship.
Scholarship funds are restricted to payment of tuition, fees, and other required expenses in relation to educational processes.
Scholarship award determinations are made without regard to applicants’ race, color, sex, religion, or national origin.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for the scholarship, all of the following criteria must be met by an applicant:

I agree that when attending and/or participating in an event organized by the Army Spouses’ Club of the Greater Washington Area (ASCGWA), I do so at my own risk.
In addition, I will use good judgement, obey all laws, and take care to avoid any injury to myself, others, or property, and will not hold ASCGWA responsible for any mishaps.
