President's Message

Hello fabulous spouses!

Do you remember what life was like before COVID?  The parties were bigger, the pace was faster, the shows were broader, the buildings were higher, and the liquor was cheaper!  “Step into the New Roaring 20’s” with us at our Fall Kickoff as we celebrate coming back together and moving into an exciting new time for our club.  Our new board members have been working hard to put together a great “wing ding” and I’m sure everyone is going to have a “swell” time!  We hope you will join us on September 16th at the Spates Community Club on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall – it’s going to be the “cat’s meow”!  Come and sign up for your favorite special activities group or one of many fabulous tours that our Tours Chair has waiting for you.  In addition, we will have vendors and light refreshments to tickle your fancy!  Don’t forget to take your picture and make sure you have the password “Dolls”!

We recommend signing up or renewing your membership and registering for the Fall Kickoff in advance, as it will save time as you enter the “speak easy”.  Please use our website, www.armyspousesclub.org, and contact our Membership Chair, Jennifer Price with any questions.

I cannot wait for you to see what our “bee’s knees” ASCGWA board members have been planning all summer long.  We are blessed to have such amazing spouses who have volunteered their time and amazing talents to serve our club and community.  Their energy is exciting and there is no doubt that this will be a fun and enjoyable year.  So, follow us on all of the ASCGWA social media platforms and get involved in tours or special activity groups to make this year engaging and fulfilling for all.

Again, I am honored to serve as your President of the Army Spouses’ Club and continue our club’s tradition of friendship, camaraderie, and giving back to our military and local community. I am looking forward to seeing you all soon and moving forward together!

Warm regards,

Ramona Smith
